Dieses Projekt setzt sich mit dem Verlust eines Körperteiles auseinander und soll dem Amputierten eine Alternative zu herkömmlichen Armprothesen geben.
Die Prothese ist in ihrer Grundfunktion erweitert und verfolgt neben dem praktischem Nutzen einen hohen ästhetischen Anspruch. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass die Prothese eine technische „Übersetzung“ des menschlichen Armes ist ohne diesen in seiner ohnehin einzigartigen Weise nachzuahmen. Form, Farbe und die verwendeten Materialien stehen im Spannungsfeld zwischen Bionik und Sport.
Der Mensch steht trotz aller technischer Aspekte im Vordergrund. Er erhält jedoch die Möglichkeit sich und seine Behinderung stärker zu individualisieren. Link

Industrial Design
This project addresses the problems accompanying the loss of a limb and is to help amputees by offering an alternative to conventional prosthetics.
The basic function of the prosthesis has been extended and in addition to its usability also meets high aesthetic standards. In this, it should be borne in mind that the prosthesis is a technical “translation”, as it were, of the human arm, whose unique build it is not trying to imitate. The shape, colour and materials used are situated at the interface between bionics and sport. Despite all technological aspects, the focus is firmly on the human being using the prosthesis, who is to be given the possibility of greater individuality, both as a person and in the context of this person’s specific challenge.
