An der Universität für künstlerische und industrielle Gestaltung Linz gelangt mit 1. März 2021 die Stelle einer Universitätsprofessorin / eines Universitätsprofessors für „(Künstlerische) Fotografie“ nach § 98 UG 2002 in vollem Beschäftigungsausmaß zur Besetzung. Die Bezahlung erfolgt nach § 49 Abs. 1 KV und beträgt EUR 5.245,60 brutto pro Monat. Die Vertragsdauer beträgt 6 Jahre. Überzahlung und Verlängerung sind möglich.
Die Kunstuniversität Linz sucht im Institut für Bildende Kunst und Kulturwissenschaften für den Bereich Künstlerische Fotografie eine anerkannte Künstler*innenpersönlichkeit mit hervorragender Qualifikation und einem national sowie international beachteten Werk. Sie soll künstlerische Lehre im Fach Fotografie anbieten und in diesem Zusammenhang sowohl technische und praktische Kompetenzen als auch Kenntnisse im Bereich aktueller Diskurse der Fotografie vermitteln.
Die Ausschreibung richtet sich an Künstlerinnen und Künstler, die fachliche Kompetenz und pädagogisches Engagement, gute Kenntnis der aktuellen Positionen im Feld der Fotografie sowie nationale und internationale Kontakte im Kunst- und Kulturbetrieb vorweisen können. Hochschulpädagogische Erfahrung ist von Vorteil. Voraussetzungen:
· abgeschlossenes künstlerisches Universitäts-, Hochschul- oder
Akademiestudium oder eine gleichwertige künstlerische Qualifikation,
· hervorragende künstlerische oder künstlerisch-wissenschaftliche
Qualifikation im Bereich der Fotografie,
· international beachtete künstlerische Tätigkeit,
· Kontakte im internationalen Kunstbetrieb,
· Führungskompetenz,
· Technische und praktische Kompetenzen im Bereich der
künstlerischen Fotografie,
· Förderung des künstlerischen Nachwuchses
Erwartet wird:
· Didaktische Eignung und einschlägige Lehrerfahrung,

The vacancy is addressed to artists who can show artistic expertise and teaching commitment, a sound knowledge of current issues in the field of photography, as well as national and international connections to the art and culture industry.
