The Erasmus+ programme has established itself as an important means of ︎internationalisation see ︎︎Policy Statement. The University of Arts Linz has ︎︎partnerships with around 90 international universities for student exchanges in various mobility programmes and for teaching staff exchanges in the Erasmus+ programme.
With the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education ︎ECHE , the University of Arts Linz has explicitly committed itself to the principles of non-discrimination, equal treatment, transparency, support for students and teachers with "fewer opportunities", the promotion of social cohesion and the fight against racism and xenophobia, among others, which are anchored in the programme. One aim is to increase ︎diversity at the University of Arts Linz and to recognise and promote the acceptance of a pluralistic society.

Das Erasmus+ Programm hat sich als ein wesentliches Mittel zur ︎Internationalisierung etabliert (siehe ︎Policy Statement). Die Universität für künstlerische und industrielle Gestaltung Linz hat ︎Partnerschaften mit rund 90 internationalen Universitäten für den Studierendenaustausch in verschiedenen Mobilitätsprogrammen und für den Lehrendenaustausch im Erasmus+ Programm.
Mit der Erasmus Charta for Higher Education ︎ECHE hat sich die Kunstuniversität u.a. explizit zu den im Programm verankerten Grundsätzen der Nichtdiskriminierung, der Gleichbehandlung, der Transparenz, zur Unterstützung von Studierenden und Lehrenden mit “geringeren Chancen”, zur Förderung des sozialen Zusammenhalts und der Bekämpfung von Rassismus und Fremdenfeindlichkeit verpflichtet. Ein Ziel ist, die ︎Diversität an der Kunstuniversität Linz zu erhöhen und die Akzeptanz einer pluralen Gesellschaft anzuerkennen und zu fördern.
