Rückblick auf "Reclaim!"

Club Nights, Squats and Urban Spaces

Moritz Pisk (Kulturwissenschaft) und Lukas Jakob Löcker (Mediengestaltung) haben im April im Zuge einer Exkursion nach Berlin gemeinsam mit Studierenden eine Ausstellung gestaltet:

Reclaim! is an exhibition by students from the University of Arts Linz, Austria. The show features work that engage with sound and club culture as well as the struggle for collective urban spaces. Narratives and histories of squatting meet the contemporary effort for safer spaces. Soil-sealing city development projects face the unused potential of urban vacancy. Experiments with sounds and aesthetics of the dancefloor encounter speculations about the futures of club culture and safe and accessible urban spaces.

The exhibition includes works by Emma Bockelmann & Julia Ryaguzova, Magdalena Feigl, Noel Fischer, fogosidad, Anja Haidecker, Lena Klausriegler, Malenke Kokoska, Bastian Lehner, Catrin Manoli, Laura Mikola, Mario Moder, Maximilian Niederer, Lotta Röll, Mia Trotz, Gero, Florian Winkler and Franz Witzmann

Curated by Lu Hainy, Julia Höglinger, Valentina Ritt, Hannah Schneck and Janice Wette

Production Team: Marlene Baumgartner, Merlin Großmann, Janna Handl, Stefan Hubinger, Fabian Pichler and Sophie Schilhuber
